Fox or coyote???

Hi! We have a hobby herd of Nigerian dwarf goats and a very small flock of chickens. We have an LGD ( pyre) in with our goats. We have one old hen in with the LGD but our 6 month old ladies keep flying out. So they are by their coop in a run. we rarely have predator issues with free ranging by the house. We live in NH by 2 huge nature conservancies and a wetland. We have a ton of bear, bobcat, coyotes, fox etc. but the dog has always deterred them. Shes getting a bit older though . 2 weeks back one of our girls flew over her fence. I went out at 9:45 am with treats and water ( just 25 mins after i’d been out there) and found a pile of feathers. Nothing else. A bit more feathers in the woods. Then no trace. Then the other day I was out by the barn talking so my presence was well known..100 feet from the coop. I had literally just been by the coop also. It was 20 feet from the goats/dog ( but dogs view blocked by a small shed). 2:00 in the afternoon with me out there!!!! I guess a Chic flew over the fence., from the time i heard the ladies freaking out to my being at the scene was under a min. And i was screaming/ yelling as i ran. A single Pile of feathers and no other trace. No more chix sound… no struggle… no sounds of fleeing predator into the woods. We did lose a large old hen to a coyote a year or so back out of the front yard by the mailbox. Similar mo. We lost a hen to a fox several years ago ( another house) and it was a lot more struggle and feathers. We have always had deer in our yard each day. They are suddenly avoiding it. Bunnies, groundhog disappearing and wild turkey feathers strewn. If its a coyote its a concern to my goats also! This was at 3:42 a.m

I’m not sure where you live, but that’s small for a coyote where I live. Also looks like a fox tail to me.
