I have one moringa tree in my garden
This tree is wonderfully bears the very hot climate of Iraq..
    Best wishes With respect ‏‪10:49‬‏

  2. Same climate in the Netherlands here, and I have three small Moringas growing inside atm! Good luck to you!

  3. I had just taken moringa as I noticed this video. I bought from Health Ranger store. I feel truly blessed seeing your plants and hearing your knowledge of Moringo.

  4. Will be watching this video several times..we have grown Maringa for years..easy here in Florida 😊 never knew what to do with it

  5. We had a neighbor who grew olives here in Ohio,His secret to keeping the tree from freezing in the winter was to bend the trunk as low as possible and then heavy mulching it..maybe this might work for you.

  6. Hi Kaye, good morning I'm so happy to see you harvest moringa! I'm in Knoxville and finally my seedlings is now 4 foot tall I have growing in a pot.will take it in when it gets cold. Thank you for all you do .

  7. Wow Kaye – Your Moringa tree is huge! Some research shows all parts of the tree are beneficial for blood sugar, various cancers, etc. but more research is needed for benefits in humans. Have not grown it but taken as supplement in smoothies so far. So glad cooler weather is coming but heat will be back soon..take care and prayers for mom and family.

  8. Happy Sunday from Zone 10b, South Florida . Our high today will be around 92°. Enjoy your cooler temps!🙏😎🌺

  9. Never knew what the Moringa leaves looked like. I've heard you can grow them in the house, but we have porches on 3 sides of the house which does not provide much natural sunlight. Only the north side doesn't have a porch. It can freeze in our greenhouse at night even with a heater. Might have to look into a different type of backup heater. We are zone 6b although I once read an article that we may have been upgraded to a zone 7. We are in SW MO about 1 1/2 hrs. away from the Ark. & OK borders. I've read that we may be in for a rougher winder this year. I do have three Moringa seeds and may plant them to see what happens. May have to just keep buying seeds. How does the Cranberry Hibiscus differ from the Roselle Hibiscus? Is it just the color?

  10. I grew it one year.and dried the leaves . I was not interested in any plant that I can't save seed from .It was not very happy in my gardens …some herbs have specific requirements.. I don't buy suppliments or herbs from any companies except some seaweed from Oregon . DO you grow goldenrod? It blooms in the fall and is great medicinal as well as pollinators/bees .I hang plants in my corn crib to dry.. its dark and well ventilated .

  11. I am in 9a. I started growing moringa in pots about 10 years ago. I decided to plant in ground because moringa did not survive winters when in a pot.
My moringa dies down to the ground and in the spring it comes back. Once you establish a strong root system, moringa will come back and spread. I am like you, I have no use for a tree but want a bushy shrub like tree that I can harvest 2x a year.

  12. Must get Moringa seed! 45 this morning in Western Kentucky! 45 tonight, too, but real feel of 98 on Tuesday! My gardens are going to HATE this weather.
Thanks for the info on Moringa, Kaye!

  13. I’ve been growing moringa for years and I’m in zone 7a/b. I have some growing in pots and raise beds. In the fall, I dug out the moringa from raise beds and transfer them in a smaller pot then put them in the garage for the winter. The leaves will fall and stem will probably die but as long as the root is hard and not soft and mushy, you can plant that root in the spring and it will grow more stems. I once had moringa that I planted in the ground next to the house where bricks can help heat the plant but I also covered it during the winter time and it was fine the next year. I use moringa for soups, that’s how we use it in the Philippines. Fish or chicken with ginger, lemongrass, garlic, onion, tomato, and put the moringa and scallion last just to kind of steep it as tea to get more of the nutrients. A friend of mine in the Philippines is an eye doctor and she told me that she had a patient who’s eye looked like ketchup. The patient run out of money from going to different doctors and still the eye wasn’t healed and my friend was the last hope. She didn’t know what to do since the medicine that other doctors tried didn’t work. So she told her patient to try moringa tea for a month then come back. She forgot about it and after a month the patient came back. She said the patient’s eye look like somebody scraped it because it was clear. There’s no sign of eye problem at all. Then she told me (because I went to see her this summer in the Philippines) that the only thing she can say is that it’s a miracle because she cannot explain it. And I told her, in the US we call moringa the miracle tree. You can watch the documentary about moringa the one they did in Africa. It’s mind blowing. And the way to use it is steep it like a tea. Don’t boil it so much. Just add boiling water in a cup and cover just like tea. I also have an uncle in the Philippines who had health problems and when I was there, I met the son. He told my mom that his dad is now feeling better. So my mom asked what he did and the son said, he drinks moringa tea 3 times a day. My mom was curious so she asked how his dad prepared the moringa as tea. He said his dad will just grab a couple branches of moringa and let it sit on the counter for an hour to 3 hours until the leaves wilt then boil it for a couple minutes and drink the moringa water. After hearing all these stories, I plan to plant more moringa next year. I have some growing but they are still little since I just came back from Philippines. I hope this helps.

  14. I'm sure you know that medicinal's need to be consumed within 60 days to get the healing benefit. Glad you will have quality heb to take.

  15. I am in 8B, I'm going to have to try Moringa. By the way….I needed some carrot seeds so I used your link to Botanical Interest and placed an order for more than carrot seeds. Once I start seed shopping there's no stopping me. lol. Great video, Kaye.
