When I ordered my seed for this season, death dragon (death spiral x dragons breath) was one of them. I also got reapers and a few other varieties.
I planted 4 "death dragon" plants in a 15 gal cloth pot. 3 of them are producing peppers like the first picture and one plant is producing the peppers in the second picture. I honestly don't even know what a death dragon pepper is supposed to look like but that second picture looks a lot like a reaper to me.
When I grew from seed the reapers and death dragons weren't even in the same tray but I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility that something got mixed up at some point. Possibly just a stray seed from the seller in the wrong packet. What do you all think? The difference is clear as day.
Yes I know about the aphids. I was away from home for 3 days and they are being dealt with. Also had 10 hornworms…had.
