The leaves are drooping I did give it water a few days ago.

I removed this one from the pot because the other ones looked good but this one looks like it needs tlc. I’m going to repot in another pot. Any advice please and thank you 😁😞

Okay, so here’s the scoop: succulents and cacti are not like normal houseplants. A houseplant like a fiddle leaf fig, bird of paradise, dracaena etc are all jungle plants that are accustomed to even moisture and low light levels. That’s why they work so well indoors.

Succulents and cacti are plants accustomed to an arid environment: they need little water and a strong, day long light, like they would get in desert. When a succulent begins to “reach” like this, one of two things is happening.

One, it’s not getting enough light: it’s stretching and dropping its lower leaves in a desperate attempt to reach light.

Two, it’s “going to seed” and working on a bloom, which is often the last thing it will do. In that case, you won’t have as much lower leaf drooping.

I think in your case you’re looking at option one. I’d keep your succulents high in their pot with a fast draining soil, drainage hole and the best light you can possibly give. Even then, succulents only live a single season indoors because lack of light, in my experience.

    Good luck!
