I've been growing this succulent for over 4 years now, and soon-ish it'll reach the floor. Can this type of cactus be trimmed and survive its trim wound?
Also if anyone has an ID on this type of cactus, that's be an added bonus! PictureThis keeps telling me it's african milk tree, but I have a milk tree plant and it's def not the same.

I definitely think it can. Just make sure to cut with something sterile and you can just leave it to callus by itself or use a callusing agent
