My native plants have often been victimized during their early stages. Once they get large enough, they can generally survive, but seedlings don’t stand a chance against a squirrel’s search for buried nuts. Here is what I built for next season. I am also considering making smaller cloches with the chicken wire to secure with landscape pins in isolated locations.
