Is it edible ? Passion fruit question!

Hi everyone!
I am new to reddit so please bear with me 🙂
I live in the Netherlands and one our trees is a type of passiflora edulis and recently started showing fruits. However, my google search has been unfruitful in determining what type of passiflora edulis and whether these fruits are edible. Some of the results even suggested that these fruits could have cyanide 😳
I’m therefore turning to you to ask whether these are edible, and whether I hit a passion fruit jackpot!
