I planted this corral bark Japanese maple in early spring this year. It was doing well until I saw some singe during the heat of the summer. I picked the singed leaves off however recently I have noticed more singed leaves and the red bark has started to turn black. I thought cooling temps might help but it has not. Should I cut the black branches off?
