I was given a few leaves to prop and this one which I don’t know what it is has been growing but I noticed no roots have formed. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to help it or just leave it alone?

Once the leaf is all dried and done it’ll fall off. I would wait to water until u see roots, for now even if the leaf looks used up and crunchy I would leave as is maybe get a shallow pan with dirt and let the baby be because the baby plant is still using the leaf for nutrients.
I’d gently place it on dirt with the second photo side-down. It should get curious and send out lil roots! Good luck
