My suggestion, cut off 1/2 of whole plant..and then immerse this cutting into water for rooting..you’ll have two plants later ….and there’s a method to fix your problem….just always pinch off the top buds..more buds(become branches) will grow along the trunk..the trunk will grow thicker and thicker….also keep your plant’s height！
