Hello everyone, I was wondering should I let this trident maple grow more and then style it, or would it be a good idea to style it now, and what styling do you recommend for this maple. Thanks!

There’s really not much there to style. Best, I think, is to let it grow and develop some branch structure. That will take another year of hard growing. So far as styling goes, early spring is the best time to do it while the tree is bare.

This needs to be chopped again in the spring to continue developing the trunk, it’s a long ways off from styling still.
