Plant Propagation

Please help me propagate this thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum, URGENT

I cut a thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum from a nearby garden, it was huge, it had 4 ariel roots from which 2 broke off, I live in India, uttarpradesh, bahraich and it's moonsoon raining alot recently. I I've kept it for callousing and after that I'll apply some fungicide on the cut, what's the best way to propagate it, water or soil? Some leafs might have pests that for now I've washed with water. What can I do for a successful propagation? Also, it was outdoors from where I took the cutting, it was in a pot. What I've thought about doing is apply some rooting hormone on it and just plant it in a well draining mix. (After callousing and applying fungicide of course)

you only need soil and water.

cut the stem as long as you need it and stick that down into the soil, all the way up to the green leaves.

water it daily.they LOVE water.dont let it dry out until it sends out another root.

    super easy to root.

they need sun, as much as possible.they do not need to be established to sit in full sun, as long as the soil is moist.

it will on its own quickly.

my husband took a machete and cut a very tall one that had reached the roof.he whacked it in half and drug the top half to the van, shoved it in all the way up to the front, and drove two hours home.we dug a hole, dropped it in about two foot and watered it in.we have had that plant for over twenty years now outside.

you just cut it to your desired length, take leaves off if you have to and bury it.water it for a couple of weeks and its good forever.

here is my second one, which is the actual top of the plant above when it got too tall…he whacked it off and buried the top.they grow easy.
