What's this plant

What us this plant

I live in a flat in the UK that has a very exposed south facing sun terrace. Almost nothing we have planted has survived except this plant and we have no memory of even planting it.

Apart from snails constantly feasting on it, it thrives through all weathers.

We gave looked on garden centres to see if we can find the same plant and not had any luck.

If someone is able to identify it we are going to get a few more to fill the empty spaces in our planters.

It looks like sedum, also known as stonecap.

If you want more just rip up each of the stalks and replant them somewhere else in your garden, they’ll die off but next year a whole new one will come up.

    Honestly, it couldn’t be easier

    Butterfly stonecrop (*Hylotelephium spectabile*)
