What do I even do with this?!

This Eve's Needle Cactus started out as a few tiny spindles in a centerpiece for our wedding….a decade ago. I've obviously got more growing from props, but I'm wondering how I can keep this growing and healthy. I'm terrified to repot it, lest the whole thing dies, but it feels like it's more than overtaken its current living quarters.
