I’ve had this from a propagation for 2.5 years and it’s grown new leaves steadily but the trunk seems thin and unstable so I’d like advice on what to do to nurture it into maturity. I’ve heard such mixed advice so hoping this group can help clarify!
1) Should I trim the bottom leaves to stimulate growth or wait until it gets taller?
2) Should I tie the trunk to the stake to help stabilize or is that babying it? I do shake it occasionally, even when it was tied to the stake.
3) When is the right time to start branching? I’d like it to have more volume, if possible
