Lawn Care

Thoughts on this seed

Hey all! Doing a complete reno of the back yard this year. 10k sqft, zone 7b, sandy soil, no irrigation (yet). Got a guy coming tomorrow to aerate and seed for me. He was originally planning to use Lesco TF Select Blend which looks like decent seed. He hit me up this morning and said he found this blend and thinks it might be a better fit. Did some googling and found these varieties individually but not blended together like this. Anyone have experience with this Trilogy Blend?

0% weed and other, looks good. Don’t know the varieties but they seem fairly common.

I’m no expert, but 0% weed seed and 0% other crop is what you’re looking for.

I dont recognize these cultivars, but they have really good germination rates, and there’s no weed or crop seed.

It may not be the greenest or most drought tolerant, top of boards, cutting edge sort of shit, but it’s probably damn fine seed.

Tangent question…. I bought a similar bag last season to use. It’s half full been sitting in my garage, can I still use it this season or did i screw it up
