Dry River Bed questions

I have a negative grade in my front yard and having water intrusion into my crawl space in this area. I am considering adding a dry river bed to help address the drainage issues. Will this actually help with water drainage and how much can I expect to pay a landscaper to do this work?

Thanks!

No idea how much you’ll pay, but I’d dig out next to your foundation, waterproof it, then put in a French drain that routes water away from it. After that you could cover it with a dry creek bed.

you’re leaving out **a lot** of information that is critical to solving your problem

is there ever any standing water under the window area?

how is the water intrusion into the crawl space happening? through a vent opening or is it seeping in?

where’s the low point on the property? does the rest of the yard drain out that way?

is the area under the window the lowest point on the property? if no and there are areas lower than this, what’s preventing water from draining from under the window to lower areas elsewhere in the yard?
