🍂NEW🍂 FALL CABINET | DECORATE WITH ME! | COTTAGE INSPIRED| DRIED FLORALS AND ANTIQUE SILVER

Hello Friends,

Hello September! It’s time to dive into fall decorating, starting with my favorite spot to style in my home: my Pottery Barn Cabinet. This year, I’m embracing a classic look with a lot of silver to achieve that charming, antique vibe. I’m also incorporating plenty of dried elements, especially hydrangeas.

One of my favorite inspirations for this fall is “The Red Theory.” This concept involves adding unexpected pops of red to your decor, which creates a cohesive yet surprising and homey atmosphere. For me, fall is all about making your home feel cozy—welcoming and lived-in.

So, I challenge you to add something special to your fall decor this year that helps create that cozy, inviting feel in your home. Whether it’s a touch of red, some antique silver, or a beautiful arrangement of dried flowers, make it uniquely yours and enjoy the process!

  1. Everything is so beautifully displayed. You have such a wonderful talent. Thanks for sharing your great ideas. One comment…..the beautiful silver set from your grandma….it is a coffee set. Not tea. Tea pots are shorter and rounder. Coffee pots are taller and more slender. My grandmother had a set with both pots.

  2. The hydrangeas & the arrangement are both just gorgeous!💚 I love silver & love collecting it. I've gotten quite a large collection, all second hand, so I've slowed down just a bit on picking pieces up.. unless they're really extra special.😉 Love the etched piece! I love the whimsiness that the ferns bring to the space. I agree, i like the old patina on the glass box, i love patina on anything!😊 It looks really pretty on top of the books. I watched a video yesterday where they had their silverware collection in their sugar mold! I have mine in crocks, and my baby spoons & forks in a creamer. I would love to find a sugar mold to put mine in..i love anything old & made of wood, that would be perfect! Oh I love the old prints! The wedding picture is just beautiful! I love collecting really old photos, prints, paintings or sketches. The red transfer ware plate is beautiful Too. I really need to make a HL trip, I want some of the velvet ribbons & the tattered ribbons for fall & Christmas! Love it around the books, & the feather🤎 I'm pretty sure that's a quail, pheasants tend to have longer tails.. but I'm not positive! Love the hurricane lamp piece, so pretty with the ferns. The picks on the bottom shelf look so realistic! The vines were a perfect touch! I'm originally born & raised in the SE of North Carolina.. pine tree country! I've always had pinecones in my decor, even my everyday decor there's a pinecone somewhere! Even living in Tennessee we had pine trees in the yard. Its weird not to see a lot if pines but palm trees & big trees covered with the hanging moss everywhere instead, here in Florida where we moved just several months ago. Pine cones just bring that extra earthy touch, from the outside in as you've said! The cabinet turned out just beautifully❤ You did an awesome job! I enjoyed, and thanks for inviting us into your home & sharing your decorating, giving us ideas & inspiration😊 Hope you have a blessed weekend!

  3. You can polish your grandmother‘s tea set and then have it sealed. I did that with mine and then you never have to polish. It took it to a silver shop.

  4. Just found your video !❤ Your decorating is beautiful !So, I had to subscribe !! refreshing to see young ladies taking pride in their homes, so warm and cozy !!

  5. I too used pinecones this year. I had the really big ones that my husband picked up when he was hunting. Just love your cabinet! Beautiful!
