I water mine when the soil is completely dry. And I’m generous when I water.

You could check it weekly, but it’s not going to need watered that often, I’d bet. Don’t water until soil is totally dry all the way through. Then water until it runs out the bottom.

With these waxy succulents I’ve had better luck; letting them completely dry out, then bottom/submerge watering them, let them soak up what they need, and then let drain for 10-15 minutes.Once a week sounds about right but you’ll eventually get a feel for how weighted the pot is watered (heavy) vs dry (light) and that’s a better measure than visuals.
