I’m trying to decide between a tree, shrub or trellis structure to create privacy and make it harder to jump this wall. I live in an urban area and would like to create a barrier between the neighbors house since their backdoor looks over my backyard and deter any thieves. I had to cut down a lemon tree that was previously here. I’d like something that doesn’t require me to go into my neighbor’s drive to maintain it often and it’ll be close to the house. A built in arched pergola sounds like the best solution for this but I’m not sure if it will look busy.
