  1. I've been on this journey in the new house from you from the beginning. I always forget how the old steps looked. What an amazing transformation. Not just the steps, but everything. Well done. Miss you and look forward to the new season.

  2. Yes the steps are just wonderful! The whole backyard is marvelous. I would have put a arched frame in at the side for a fairtake like gate on that street side, but that's just me.

  3. A thought on the stepsā€¦ I usually donā€™t make comments on YouTube because itā€™s your house & you should do whatever makes you happy without comments from others critiquing or giving their thoughts. But here I go with a thought on your beautiful steps, haha! With the width, I can see the advantage of a center railing instead of one on each side. That way two people can traverse side by side in conversation versus being so far apart. Like conversational furniture placement inside a home. You can still have whatever plants you want along the side to spill over the steps & even a pot at the top of each side of the railing. I always look forward to creating another opportunity for a container planting. Having had the experience of a broken knee cap, I could not climb the steps without a railing & the center seems more appealing than being far from others as they climb on the other side.

  4. I usually love everything you do but my personal options about your back steps is that itā€™s just too much too big and too overwhelming for the size of your house.

  5. Just amazing what you have accomplished in a short time. Your design/talent and vision is wonderful. As for the tea light holders, if your unable to find the darker shades your after have you thought about glass paint? It will give an opaque look. Most craft stores carry them. Iā€™ve purchased a few at Michaels.

  6. Love your space.. Iā€™m looking for solar lights.light up trees. Have you used some that are consistent with coming on nightly? ThanksšŸ˜Š

  7. Try searching for dark whiskey glasses for the votive candles. Should be the perfect solution.

  8. Linda! I just found a plant that would be perfect for your front garden! Itā€™s stunning and unique, yet itā€™s actually native to your area. I would love to see you plant it somewhere and see what you think. Itā€™s called Eryngium leavenworthii. Has interesting form and beautiful deep purple or blue coloring.šŸ˜Attracts pollinators, too.

  9. Love everything. It will truly be magical with the lights and as the plantings mature. I actually love your terra cotta pots where they are! Your shed is beautiful. Im in process of cleaning out my huge shed today as it's going to be broken down for my greenhouse. I need a shed like yours for my fertilizers etc. Where did you get it (if you can share)?

  10. Your clay pots are very good looking. Where do you purchase them or do you have the company brand name? Also love your
wide brimmed straw hat.. Hopefully there is a label inside to share with us.

  11. Linda, what was that gorgeous ivy vine that you grew on your garage at your old house that turned colors in the autumn? And will you grow it at your new house?
