First time starting stem cuttings of milkweed.


First pic was the day I started them, on the 8th. They were "middle stem cuts", meaning that they didn't have roots and they didn't have any new-tip growth.

Second pic was just several days later, on the 13th. As you can see, there's already a lot of new leaves growing from the once-bare stems.

Third pic focuses on two stems (indicated by blue arrows), that don't have any obvious growth. So, they might not make it. But, I'll give them all some more time, just in case.

Ten successful stems out of twelve is still pretty good, to me.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘
