Resurrected Plant— Update

I had posted in here about my Fig about a month ago and I wanted to share an update! Had originally bought from Whole Foods, and I think a combination of irregular watering and poorly draining soil caused all the leaves to drop until it was just a stump. I was planning to throw it out because it looked like it had died, but before doing so it was just living in my bathroom (which has natural lighting). I think the combo of the humidity and light cause it to start growing leaves!! I had posted a while back in here to see what people thought I should do about the long stump above the leaves, and ultimately was told this was just a Hail Mary from the plant to try and survive. A month later here we are and she’s doing well!! Should I cut the long bare stump? It’s a little funny looking and at this point highly doubt there will be new growth from there.
