I teach elementary school and brought 3 of my lovelies as class pets. We voted on names and one of the classroom jobs is Plant Whisperer, where they talk to them and encourage growth! (They aren’t normally sitting this close to the window – just for the photo op)

I loved letting kids name things when I was a teacher. We got new chickens once (it was a hippie school) and the top name choices for them were Billy the Mommy and Frenchfry Blanca 😂
