Super beginner here! Those are 6 months old, they used to be very green till 3 weeks ago, now they are very pale and yellowing.
I know I should have repotted them in more pots but I was afraid that I would kill them doing so because too small… did I just kill them leaving them in this small pot?
Please help!

Are they in soil or grit?
The biggest issue here is you have limited their light burying them so deep into that pot. See how those further from the window appear taller? They’re stretching for the light.
Repot them. Lots of light and growing them in a well-draining medium will do them well.
Some cacti will do fine clumped.
