Hey everyone,
I have had this mikawa yatsubusa growing in my yard in Central Missouri for about 3 years now. I have had the intention of thickening it up so I could create bonsai with it. Should I let her go longer? Should I dig it up or do an air layer? I'm not sure where to begin. This is my first Japanese maple, and as such, I am very fond of her and don't want to mess her up. Any advice or ideas of where to start her training would be amazing.
