There used to be a lot more green but they all dried up after I went a trip for a few days 🙁 it’s sitting on my window sill with pretty good light. I’ve had the plant for about 2 years and I haven’t changed the soil yet. I try to water it every other day. how do I encourage this plant to keep on growing?

Put it in a smaller pot. This one is way too big – it will either be putting all energy into growing roots (not leaves) or the roots will rot because the soil stays wet too long, since the root ball is small and doesn’t drink much water
They tend to do well in bright light and kept moist when the dirt feels dry. However they are slow growers so you may not see much result until you provide optimal living conditions
Are they good in water, until a good root system is developed?
