Hello. My avocado looks like this. It looks like something was eating from it, except that i keept it in my house. His root looks a little bit suspicious or is it normal?
Nutrient profile in water is minimal. Likely only getting cal and mag and what ever else your water has. And yes it won’t bear fruit. For most plants growing from seed on a grocery store bought fruit – the plant produced is never true to type. You better off buying from a trusted seed bank and or nursery.

give it more time to deepen its roots, and put it in soil once you think it has enough cuz it will need dirt to form propper big leafs. also a stick in the middle to support it whil growing the leafs will help cuz the hveigh a ton and can bent the stem
