Substrate?


I got these baby anthuriums, one a veitchii, the other a hybrid of fingers and titanium, about 2 weeks ago. The nursery I got them from has them in a sort of dense substrate, but when I looked it up, it seems it should be in a bit of a looser substrate. Was this because they're still babies? If so, when should I repot it with a looser substrate? Additional info, I keep it in a sunny, eastern facing window, and I've been watering it when the first inch or so is dry. I just watered them right before taking the picture

    Both of these plants need drainage, and they need to be repotted asap.

    I would use a high quality potting mix like Happy Frog.

    The new pots need to have drainage holes, but they don’t have to be bigger than the current pots.
