  1. Hi Megan, the arbor looks great! It'll look even better when you get the other plants when you can! I thought maybe if you know someone who has herbs all ready, they could give you a starter one or go online & get seeds to start your own & have them in the house over the winter. Also, start your flowers that way, too! They might have seeds at your local garden stores, too! But they might be out also! Another thing is to plan it on paper where you're going to put each pot & if you're going to have little tables like the one you have in front by the arbor with a plant in it. You could put in different heights! It draws attention to them more! Especially if they trell down the sides of the pot! Too bad you didn't start a pumpkin patch earlier, then you'd have pumpkins for Halloween! It looks great, especially with the tree trimmed. You were great cutting the branch yourself! I know how it is. I'm scared of heights, too! But I did go up the Eifel tower & look down. It's very scary for me! Also, the St. Louis Arch! But I did it & glad I did it! Thanks for sharing! ♥️😉🦋🐾🧶🧵🪡📓✏️🍄🍁🎃✨️

  2. You should put the arch staked in the ground otherwise it the wind picks up it will call and get damaged, looks lovely x

  3. Kudos to you on climbing up the ladder & cutting the tree! I’m terrified of heights idk if I would be able to do it. I gotta look into that tool bc it would be convenient for my parents! Agree the mums you hit compliment each other so pretty! & love that summer is almost over I am a winter & fall girl here 🙃 super cute with sawyer and Kinsley being creative & getting there vitamin what C or D lol, hope you guys have a great week! 💜😊

  4. Did the situation with the neighbour's fallen trees through your yard from a while back ever resolve? Or did you just end up cleaning up all that debris yourselves? The yard has come such a long way! Looks great! 👏👏

  5. I think it would be good to anchor the trellis to the ground so winds don't knock it over and it breaks.l think your container garden is a great idea.Loved this video.😊❤

  6. Loving your back yard! I moved my shepherds hooks this summer. I actually hung a bird feeder on one of mine and it looks really cute next to my arbor. I may have to order that tool from wild badger. Blessings!

  7. Hi Megan. The arbor is so pretty. Your yard looks so good. Hopefully you can enjoy it for a few more months. Have a great rest of your week ❤

  8. Not sure about planting the blackberry bush on the arbor, I feel like it would stain it once berries are ripe. Looks great.

  9. If you like windchimes, that's something you can hang on the taller shepherd's hook. I love the trellis and the plants around it. Great job!

  10. This might be a silly question, but I am going to ask it anyway. How specifically does the trellis remain in place? Is it somehow staked into the ground or is it completely freestanding? My concern with it if it isn't somehow secured into the ground is that it is going to end up blowing over in the wind. I live in the Minneapolis area and we can get some gustier winds and heavy rain storms, and I know that if I have things in our yard that are not somehow secured down, they are going to end up toppling over and ultimately getting damaged or destroyed.

We just bought and moved into our home at the beginning of August and I had originally considered purchasing and building a white vinyl pergola to sit in our backyard (our back door opens up onto a brick patio paver area), but unfortunately I came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to work. The pergola requires 2 corner posts which would have meant having to remove those specific pavers in order to dig holes into the ground to install the posts and on the sides closest to the house, it actually attaches to your roofline. I just didn't see an easy way to install this so I am trying to come up with some other options.

  11. i would check to see if you may possibly be allergic to the lavender, my grandma has the same reaction to lavender and mint 🙃
