I bought this cocopeat from a local store and it was so moist/wet , but there was no red soil or anything in it its pure cocopeat and it doesn't even smell rotten , as this is my 1st time buying cocopeat i wanted to ensure if its normal or not .

first time i hear about moist coco peat lol. it’s usually comes in dried bricks or not pressed but still dry. i guess you’re good unless there’s weird chemical smell, that would mean it was treated with something. anyway, make sure to soak it in clean water for 1-2 days to remove excess salts and tannins.
