I understand that underwater can lead to the lower leaves falling. Also humidity plays an important role.
Light should not be an issue.
So fair about 13 leaves have dropped off in the past week. I hate to see a lovely plant die so I come here to see if there is more I can do to help it.
Thanks in advance

They don’t like being moved. Mine always drop a bunch of leaves when I move them. I think they are just stressed and trying to conserve energy. Personally I would pull the drapes a bit for a couple weeks. Indirect light is best when they are stressed, I’ve found.
