Is my VFT a red maroon cultivar or is this sunburn?

Newish to cps; I got this a couple months ago at a grocery store. I was growing indoors on a south windowsill (zone 9-10) and recently transitioned it outdoors to receive more direct sunlight and noticed many of the outsides of the traps began to turn red. The traps are pretty big and it has a yellow undertone (yellow leads me to believe it’s unhealthy). It recently pushed out a flower bud but I cut it off conserve energy.

I removed the death plug, but put it back in the tinyyy original pot… I plan to repot soon but I’m scared as I’ve read it’s not ideal to repot before dormancy. Thanks for reading and for any tips!

Some of the outsides of the traps are a darkish red but pics didn’t capture the color well. it’s only been in full, direct sunlight around 2 weeks and the outsides of the traps continue to darken. [Additional pics](https://imgur.com/a/L7RMWpZ)
