If you feel like you got a $120+ cactus, then I’d say yes.
But you do have a cactus that shows signs of having lived a sad, uncomfortable, life. This makes it more lively to succumb to pests, disease, and generally looking like it feels bad for itself.
But now it will be loved by you and live a happier life in the care of someone that cares. So that’s good.
