Looking for help with my new alocasia that I got from Lowes on impulse while my hubby was buying tools lol What type is she and what should I look for? I've heard not to repot it, so I'm fairly happy with the pot they came in. The plant ID app said it was an Amazonian alocasia, i just want to make sure I'm taking care of it the right way!

Take that moss off the soil. They need to dry completely between waterings or you will get rot fast. And likely gnats. If that pot doesn’t have drainage hole get one that size that does and just put it back in that pretty one. Unlikely you need a bigger one yet but check the roots.
They put out greats corms!
