Yes!! The elephant is now a “cache” pot! I like doing this so I can remove and water to ensure drainage and get a good idea of how plant is doing in general. Yes!! Do this!! It’s a cute pot too!! 😍

4 years..! I’d be wanting to do a full on repot, I’m sure there’s barely any soil left.. likely all root, or just about. I’d not be able to leave it be haha I’d have to check and be sure!
But I guess, leave it be for now.. once it starts to have any issues, a root check might be the first check at that point.
