Rare Houseplants

My latest additions

I got two additions to my growing collection this past week. First I finally got a M. Aurea. Not a ton of variegation but hoping future leaves will have great color. Next is a M. Esqueleto. I have always admired these from afar but had no plans to buy anytime soon. My Florida Beauty wife and I were in a farm store looking for moss pole materials when she found this in their houseplant display. I got it for 40% off since she works for the parent company.

Note: The taller stem on the aurea is no longer straight but bent at a 45 degree angle. I was out of town Friday and she closed the heavy curtains which must have bent the stem. I usually quarantine plants a couple of weeks but I put it into the grow tent under the lights with the others to help it out. Did I do the right thing?
