Tip: use your paper shredder to store your kitchen scraps

A very simple way to further integrate your shredder into your composting workflow is to put food scraps directly into your shredder's paper bin. Whenever I'm doing meal prep I just bring the bin from my 15 page Amazon Basics shredder into the kitchen and drop food scraps in there. I avoid putting anything particularly wet in there and thick layers of shredded cardboard keeps it nice and dry / odorless for multiple days. When full, it all goes out to the pile in one vessel! I've done this for months without issue and I'll periodically hose out the bin.

I don’t get how it doesn’t get nasty in there.

Does it not stink? And what about the condensation it creates? Sounds like it could become an issue after doing this for a while
