Plant Propagation

Need advice on my dracaena propagations!!

I have these two dracaena water props. It took them very long to grow those little roots (several months), because I didn’t want to remove the leaves. I live in Northern Europe, so the growing season ended in August.

So here’s my question. Would you still pot them up now, even though it’s autumn, or would you wait until spring? I’m afraid that if I leave them in water for half a year, it will be harder for them to get used to soil afterwards. I know I could try transferring them to leca or perlite first, but I have never had luck with that 🙁 All of my perlite and leca props have gotten rot. So I’d want to avoid that.

Any advice would be helpful! 🙂

P.S. the black stuff in the water is activated carbon, not rot or anything bad 😀
