Hello! I have this big chunk of jade that’s been hanging out on a counter for about five weeks. The cut part of the stem looks calloused over, and there is a bunch of new root growth. The past two days the roots appear to be drying up a bit. What’s the next step for this little creature? There is so much oftentimes contradictory info about propagating jades, I wanted to ask. Thanks in advance.

Into the soil it goes!
Plunk it into some dirt… don’t worry about covering the roots! They’ll find their way on their own if they’re on top of the soil and the little roots can be brittle. Might wanna give it a spray with some water, since the cut is already calloused and some of the leaves are starting to dry out.
