Hey everyone so excited to be posting this! I got this guy last Friday for only $50! That’s a good deal for me in MD. Never owned a variegated (rare) alocasia except variegated frydek. Now I have one of my dream alocasias Variegated dragon scale. I heard there albo and aurea? I think I have the aurea?

It’s a lovely feeling getting one of your wish list plants… i think a way to tell if it’s Albo (white) for sure – rather than Aurea (yellow) – is to give it very bright light, Albo’s change from yellow to white with bright light. It can take several weeks to burn in.
I got myself some babies this week, an Albo and a Mint Dragon Scale, a Loco and Green Unicorn, can’t wait to watch them grow. Little bit of a splurge 🤫 – but oh well, ho hum… 😏 💚👍
