Hey all! Approx. 16 months ago I planted a small Trident Maple in my backyard to help it grow. I have not pruned or touched this tree at all in that time.
I’m having my backyard excavated tomorrow and will be away for a few weeks but I need to uproot this tree tonight!!
Do I :
A) uproot the tree and repot in a large pot for now?
B) uproot the tree and replant in a different location in the garden?
If you suggest potting it. Should I buy new soil or dig up the soil it’s already in and use that?
PS – these photos are from June. The tree is currently full of healthy leaves!
