I’m not sure if anyone needs to know this, but organza bags work amazingly for protecting tomatoes from being destroyed by pests! Also keeps the cherry tomatoes from falling to the ground before you can pick them. It’s a little extra work but worth preventing the heart break from half eaten green/blushing tomatoes on the plant!!

I got some of these in green from Amazon.
The army worms or caterpillars literally ate a hole through them to destroy two of my cherokee purple tomatoes.
Seem useless to me. Even stinkbugs might stick their mouthparts thru to get to a large tomato
