  2. Hi Matt . Every thing looks so pretty in the front yard . The supertunia are going to be amazing also you can add vinca and dianthus to the garden garden Have a great day .🌺🌻🌺

  3. Everything looks great especially with the temps we have had this summer. Yuck. Like you, I am very much looking forward to Florida's version of fall.

  4. Matt, I agree with you. Fall is definitely the best time for gardening in Florida. I feel like quite a few of our native plants bloom in Fall and it's just feels so much better to work outdoors in the garden. Thank you for your videos as I can get inspiration from them as we both live in Florida. I have a section that I call my Gothic garden and I want to try the Dark night scabiosa but that area doesn't get full sun. Do you think they will flower for me? Need to research this.

  5. Is that a gabian cage on your patio? If so, did you make it or purchase it somewhere?

Also, just to throw this out there, I have a blue porterweed in my hummingbird bed and trimmed it down around mid-March to remove old, "frosted" growth (doesn't take much to get them to turn black in winter). Threw the sun-dried and withered trimmings in my cold compost pile and around June I had several seedlings coming up in my compost. And now more are coming up in the pile. So this plant seems to be a prolific reseeder. Strangely enough, no reseeds around the mother plant. And yes, I checked to make sure they weren't rooted cuttings.

I see that your garden philosophy is a bit like my own. A mix of natives and exotics and food plants.
