Get it back in soil and water well! It looks like a ficus? They’re pretty hardy. As long as the roots didn’t dry out completely it should be ok.

These guys can basically live hydroponically and that’s what it really needs right now.
That’s the way everyone receives bare root plants in the houseplant world. You buy them like THAT and have to drop them in water for like two days because they’ve been deprived of water for however long the flight from the Amazon rainforest to your town is.
