Personally I’m not crazy about that top root that comes down from the bend in the trunk. I’d probably cut that off. Also I think I’d do a relatively aggressive chop on this since you have a lot of dense growth and big branches on top but not much in the middle/lower. Do you have a front picked out yet?

Wigert’s is great for mail-order bonsai if you don’t live in Florida. Honestly I find they send the most well-developed and healthy plants for their prices.

Eric has some amazing stuff; I know him and his wife personally. Wigerts is top notch when it comes to bonsai trees at least in Florida when it comes to retail side. Tough to beat his prices and then match the quality to boot.
