Plant Identification

I believe I know what this is

An ex-neighbor at my apartment planted this, now it's grown really big. It smells like lemons, google lens says it's lemon balm, and it looks like lemon balm based on the images… So is it? (I'm pretty sure it is I just want to make sure it's not some other plant that is almost identical but could kill me, like wild green onions that also have a look alike) I'm a culinary major so I was curious what it's uses are and if anyone here has ever used it in cooking. There is so much I think it is worth harvesting at this point.

It looks like lemon balm (or some other member of the mint family) to me. Does it smell like lemons? That’s usually the best way to check.
