The zinderella series is just like that I’m afraid. Not the seed company’s fault 😢
I have heard that zinnia like your zinderella, that’s supposed to have a fun middle Pom Pom, don’t usually get the Pom Pom in hot climates😢

My coreopsis is also looking sad after looking so great in the spring
It looks great Shannon! That was interesting information about the Queen Butterflies! Now i'm going to on the watch out for them:)
I've been growing a "weed" vine on a trellis, allowing it to get woody and huge, and I don't regret it. It's Bittersweet Nightshade. (Not the poisonous one) It has the most beautiful purple flowers that turn into droops of red berries. It seeds itself and layers itself. To manage this:
I cut it down to 6" above ground in the fall. Pick up any berries I can see, and make sure to pull the seedlings in the spring. Sometimes, it travels underground so I just rip that part out, back to the main plant. It is a lot of maintenance, but it is worth it to me for the flowers. My yard is kind of wild around the edges, so I don't care if it shows up our there.
