So the first picture is a new leaf. I find it quite yellow, for example the second picture is a month old leaf. Is there anything wrong with the first leaf?
This is normal! If you feel the new leaf, you’ll probably notice how soft and pliable it is compared to the older growth. Leaves have to be more flexible when they’re new and unfurling. They soon start to harden off, a process which also darkens the color. (I couldn’t find the scientific terms for this process — maybe someone else can weigh in!)
