help my plant please!!

I’ve had this hilo alocasia for about a year and it was thriving, kept getting bigger and eventually started growing larger leaves like the ones pictured. However, recently it started to brown at the edges followed with a yellowing ring, the newest leaf started to brown in the middle too (pictured). This plant drops leafs often it can’t keep more than 4 at a time and maybe that’s not normal but it’s never done this before. I know pests fungus and watering can be an issue so maybe you guys can tell me what you think i’m doing wrong?
I water this plant as needed often letting the top 3in to dry first, it’s set near a northeast facing window, I’ve inspected for pests and didn’t see anything but went ahead and wiped the leaves either way with a mix I make (peppermint oil, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, neem oil). It’s potted on a ceramic pot and the soil is mixed with perlite/bark but wouldn’t say it’s super light or chunky. My place is always at 70-72 F° and I run a humidifier in the room where I keep them all but I wouldn’t say it makes the room all that humid. Is there something I can be doing better/change? I love this plant and really would hate to see it go. I appreciate any tips 🙂 thank you!
